In England from 1993 - 94, I collaborated with textile artist, former monk and Cambodian killing fields survivor Tan Draig. We communicated via drawings for two years, culminating in a joint exhibition for the 50th anniversary of D-Day. We received grants from Southern Arts, Hampshire County Council, and Portsmouth City Council. Each of us showed independent work as well as collaborative pieces. My independent work was "This Flesh", an installation of paintings. Thousands of people visited the exhibition.
